To the Aesir and all sacred beings, we raise this plea.

May the brave hound [Pet’s Name], who guarded our hearth with loyal heart,

find rest in the halls of the gods. Let their spirit run swift on the paths of Valhalla,

where the faithful are welcomed with feast and song.

May Odin’s wisdom guide them, and Freyja’s grace embrace them,

as they join the ancestors in the eternal twilight.

We thank you for the love and protection they gave us in life.

Let his memory be a light that never fades.
